What is an Unguided Hunt?

Best for

  • Archery hunters who are experienced in hunting elk and can call for each other
  • Unguided hunts allow you to focus on your hunt and not your camp. Meal prep, clean up, and camp security is in our hands.
  • We expect you to have 4 to 6 in your group for an unguided archery hunt. Guides are not included.

  • Good quality tent appropriate for your group size.
  • Wood stove
  • Lantern(s)
  • Cots and pads
  • Small table and chairs
  • Kitchen utensils
  • Propane stove with fuel
  • All necessary camp tools
  • We will provide saddle horses for each hunter in and out to camps that are located more than six miles in from the trailhead. (Horses do not remain in camp with hunters.)
  • Packing of any game taken

  • This works well with 2 to 4 hunters.
