Montana Horseback
Bob Marshall Work trip
7 Lazy P Outfitting maintains designated campsites throughout the Bob Marshall Wilderness, and each year we return to prepare and maintain these backcountry camps for the season. Working trips provide a unique opportunity to experience the Bob while helping with the upkeep and preservation of wilderness camp operations.
Guests participating in a working trip may assist with tasks such as:
- Setting up and maintaining camps
- Repairing corrals
- Putting up tents
- Cutting and stacking firewood
- Pulling weeds and general camp maintenance
These trips are a great option for individuals who want an economical way to experience the Bob Marshall Wilderness and do not mind getting their hands dirty while contributing to camp operations.
Working trips are limited to four guests to help maintain a small-group wilderness experience.
If you are looking for a more traditional roving backcountry adventure, be sure to explore our variety of summer pack trips and wilderness excursions.
