Not only are the Bob Marshall Wilderness and Rocky Mountain Front known for some of the most spectacular scenery in the West, but they are also home to elk, mule deer, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, whitetail deer and grizzly and black bears. At 7 Lazy P, we appreciate that hunting big game in the wild and in their own habitat is truly challenging, yet immensely rewarding. To satisfy your particular hunting desire, we offer three main types of guided hunts: pack-in wilderness, general season lodge-based and drop camps. Be sure to pack your gear accordingly.

We offer pack-in wilderness hunts during early rifle and archery season and our premier guided hunts give our guests the chance to experience the Bob Marshall Wilderness and all of its beauty. Our expert crew and seasoned stock will take you to one of our three permitted camps. While you’re a guest of 7 Lazy P, we’re certain that you’ll enjoy your time in Montana’s backcountry, complete with comfortable accommodations and excellent meals.
Comfortable Accommodations Both On & Off The Trail
During the Montana five-week general season, we base our guided hunts out of the historic 7 Lazy P Guest Ranch. The 7 Lazy P lodge-based hunts are operated with the same attentiveness and detail as our pack-in wilderness hunts, with the exception that you’ll be staying in one of our cabins instead of in a wall tent. While hunting and staying with 7 Lazy P, you will experience great accommodations, backcountry solitude and the challenge of a fair-chase hunt in the Bob Marshall Wilderness. We consider our hunting operation and crew to be first class. From our experienced and licensed guides to seasoned chefs and packers, we are proudly committed to the ethics of the outdoors and our profession.

In addition to our guided hunts, we offer drop camp hunts. Drop camps are a great way for you to hunt independently without the time and investment required to packing in your equipment. We will provide your camp and cooking necessities, as well as support to pack out your game. Our professional crew also offers private land and special-draw hunts.
